Optikos Corporation Launches LensCheck™

Wakefield, MA - February 5, 2010 - Optikos Corporation introduces the LensCheck™ Lens Measurement Instrument, an innovative system for both production and prototype lens qualification.  The system features high -resolution motorized stages, 12-bit real-time video, and integrated glass scale encoders providing accurate, efficient measurements in a compact, portable system. 

The LensCheck is coupled with Optikos’ patented VideoMTF™ image analysis software allowing for real-time MTF measurements. This enables manufacturers to qualify incoming products quickly and reliably while greatly minimizing the risks of sub-standard complete assemblies.  The new LensCheck™ also offers a large variety of options such as objectives, filters, lens mounts and transmission kits enabling users to customize the system for their unique lens measurement needs.  A finite conjugate model is also available.
