Evolving from over a decade of successful use of the widely accepted RMI and LMI instruments, the LMIplus offers improved accuracy, throughput, and software interfaces for high speed measurement of radii of curvature, center thickness and sag of contact lenses, contact lens molds and IOLs. Additionally, the LMIplus, with toric option, measures both the principal radii and axis angle of toric parts. The LMIplus technology has proven its reliability and accuracy with the world leaders in contact lens manufacturing.

The LMIplus operates under Windows 95, 98, NT and XP operating systems. An OLE interface provides a library of LMIplus functions that can be accessed by a variety of OLE client applications such as Microsoftâ Word or Excel, or programs created using tools such as Microsoft Visual Basicâ. This capability provides the user with the ability to create custom interfaces for the LMIplus that can collect, manipulate and record measurement data, satisfying the most demanding production floor control applications.
