VLS-100
Variable Luminance Source

The VLS-100 Variable Luminance Source is a controllable source of uniform, visible illumination for testing cameras, image intensifiers, and visible to near-infrared night vision devices. It is used with I-SITE™ software or as a standalone, computer-controlled device.
The Variable Luminance Source features a 50 mm diameter source aperture with <2% luminance non-uniformity. The source brightness is continuously adjustable over a dynamic range of 106 that is computer controlled to within 3% of its set value. A range of filters and test targets is available to support a variety of performance measurements.
