Since 1995, Photonics West has been a celebration of innovation, research, and emerging technology for the international optics and photonics community. Optikos is proud to be joining leaders from the industry, academia and the government to share our expertise and bring our optical engineering design, manufacturing, and testing services to life.
As explained by David Biss, Senior Manager, Optical Engineering at Optikos, “Photonics West is one of the most important shows for us to attend. It’s a perfect place for us to show off our image quality metrology systems and offerings, and it’s a great place for us to talk to customers about our optical and opto-mechanical engineering and manufacturing capabilities.”
When you visit Optikos at Booth #841, you’ll be met by our team of experts. You can chat with our Engineering Services specialists about your design challenges or view our metrology products such as LensCheck™, VIS & Longwave infrared target projectors, and the ColliMeter system. “The big new offering this year will be our line of pre-engineered microscope objectives [solutions], which aim to reduce development times and costs for customers,” announced Biss.
Over 40 years, Optikos has developed a library of optical engineering starting points. These pre-engineered microscope objectives will accelerate the development cycle and, at the same time, reduce the non-recurring engineering charges. These simulations are available without significant design investments, though they are also able to be modified to meet your specifications as needed. Highlights include diffraction-limited wide field-of-view designs, APO and super achromatic designs, and wide-field fluorescence designs.
“You can come by and see some examples of lens systems and lens designs that we have for this pre-engineered solution offering…Optikos really has the ability to merge our design history and our metrology into these pre-engineered solutions so that we’ll take something rapidly, get it into a prototype development, get you hardware, and then get you the metrology data that tells you that this hardware is doing exactly what you expect it to do.”
We look forward to seeing you at Photonics West in San Francisco starting January 28th.
